Top Parks to Take Your Kids in Indianapolis

Spring is coming! That means nice weather and getting to play outside. So here are some top parks in Indianapolis you and your family have to check out! 

Colts Canal PlaySpace

The Colts Canal PlaySpace is a very popular playground located on the north end of the Downtown Canal Walk off of West Walnut Street. This park will for sure keep your kiddos busy and active.

There is lots of climbing for your older kids and a huge slide and obstacle courses for you little ones. This park has lots of climbing, swings, slides, and more! The cool thing about this park is that it has a cushion floor which makes landing a little softer :) 



Holliday Park

Holliday Park is not just a good place for your kids to play, but a good spot to hang out with friends and family all day. This park has 94 acres of fun! It consists of their amazing park, a Nature Center featuring Habitat Hall, access to The White River, over 3.5 miles of trails, the Holliday Park ruins and more.

One really cool piece that their parks offer is a huge spider web climbing apparatus that your kids will LOVE! Holliday Park is an older and smaller kid friendly park. Holliday Park is located at 6363 Spring Mill Road, Indianapolis.



Tarkington Park

Tarkington Park is a really fun park that can be great to spend some family time. This park offers a huge splash pad, a giant rope climbing sphere, hills that you can slide down/climb up, and a huge slide that can fit your entire family… How fun is that?!

This could be a fun spot to stop and have your kids run around and drain out all of their energy. They also have a music area for your kiddos. Tarkington park has nonstop fun you have to check out! They are located on 45 W 40th St, Indianapolis.
